The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the class 10th result 2018 on its websites on Tuesday. This result, finally, brings a relief for more than 16 lakh students and ends their anxiety that they have been suffering since they finish the exams. Now students can check their CBSE 10th result 2018 on the websites - www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.results.nic.in
This time getting results became easier and hassle free through Google and Microsoft’s search engine, Bing.

However, this time results can be collected through the SMS Organizer mobile application and it is available on Google Play store https://aka.ms/sms. To tackle the anxiety among students, other options were enabled that each one leads to the scores through the interactive voice response system and SMS facility of the National Informatics Centre. With this facility, students just need to call 24300699 by adding their dial codes for their areas. (Example- for Delhi- Dial 011-24300699) Besides, students can know their results on UMANG mobile application which is available for iOS, Android and Windows-based smartphones.

However, this time the CBSE result has brought a joy of accomplishment among students as four students topped the CBSE Class 10 exam and among them three girls and one boy and four scored stellar 499 out of 500 marks. However, the overall pass percentage was 86.70. This time girls did noticeably better than the boys, with a pass percentage of 88.67, where boys have attained a pass percentage of 85.32.
Four students with excellent marks are Prakhar Mittal of DPS Gurgaon, Rimzhim Agarwal of RP Public School, Bijnor, Nandini Garg of Scottish International School, Shamli and Sreelakshmi G of Bhavan's Vidyalaya, Kochi. Besides, seven students with 498 marks secured the second position and 14 students acquired the third position with a score of 497.
As per the record of the board, 27,426 candidates secured 95 % marks and above and almost 1,31,493 candidates attained 90 % marks and above. This time the three prominent regions based on the students’ performance are Thiruvananthapuram (pass percentage 99.60), Chennai (97.37) and Ajmer (91.86). However, Delhi region is noted with a pass percentage of 78.62.
Additionally, the board said, the numbers of students come under the differently-abled category secured 90 % marks and above are 135 and among them 21 students secured 95 % marks and above. As per the official record, 1,86,067 candidates got compartment.
