The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, is going to conduct the UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) on 8 July, 2018 organized for candidates inclined to pursue Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or assistant professorship. However, CBSE conducts the NET examination on behalf of UGC.
According to the sources, the CBSE has reportedly declared a revision both in the exam pattern and eligibility criteria. However, this time, CBSE amended the maximum age limit for the Junior Research Fellowship candidates and another two years got increased in this regard.

As per the latest information, the CBSE UGC NET July 2018 exam will be designed with two papers, instead of three papers. The Paper-I will include 50 compulsory questions and each one will carry two marks, where Paper-II will be prepared with 100 compulsory questions with two marks allotted for each question. Besides, 1 hour is allotted for completing the paper-I and the assigned time to solve the paper-II is 2 hours. Remember, total 100 and 200 marks are assigned for consecutive Paper-I and Paper-II.
However, CBSE will conduct UGC NET 2018 in 84 subjects and the exam centres will cover 91 cities across India. However, the candidates can download the admit card on or before June 23, 2018. For further information, aspirants can check the official website – cbsenet.nic.in.
