The examinations scheduled to be held from Thursday by some Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) schools should be postponed as per the Education Department.
CBSE Regional Officer Tarun Kumar said in the circular that students should be given sufficient gap between examinations to prepare. Those affected by flood should be given support to continue their studies, including condonance of attendance. In a circular the CBSE regional office has directed that internal assessment for all classes in the State to be rescheduled after September 10 owing to the floods.
