CBSE affiliated schools to send students’ attendance

The schools following CBSE have been asked to send the attendance of the students from the day of commencement of classes of 12th and 10th standard i.e. from the beginning of session until January 1. Schools affiliated with CBSE are in the final process of sending the attendance of students of class 12 and 10 who appear for board examinations in 2019. The CBSE has also sent a format to the schools.

For the ones whose attendance is falling short, the schools will have to give condonation of shortage. This application will have to be sent to the regional offices of CBSE and schools have been asked to send this application by January 15. Students need to have 75% attendance in class. CBSE has clearly stated that no such request will be accepted after January 15.
